Well, the weather is changing. It is certainly changing. Right now it is October, deep in the

woods of Minnesota, sitting out here looking over the lake right now. And I know that things are a

changing all over the world. They're changing in your life. They're changing in

our culture, politics, the church. Everything is about change right now.

You know, as I'm looking out over the lake

and this time a year, usually we will get

literally thousands of ducks and thousands of Canadian geese who will land on the lake every evening.

And then by the time you get up for morning prayer, they're gone. It's like they're gone. But this year it's a little bit different as I'm looking out at the lake right now.

There are not a lot of ducks and geese on there, but there are some strange birds that I did a little research on they're called the

cormorant the cormorant and they are kind of a gangly double crested

a bird kind of a prehistoric looking bird and I did some research on them and I found out that these

birds are not appreciated by the other birds and they they kind of go out and destroy the small fish
