in 2021 because at least to me, it was a very surprising season. The Giants went all in on their

free agency approach. They moved back contracts they needed to to keep them on the roster.

They added a coverage corner to Dory Jackson, who I thought could kind of transform the scheme.

Xavier McKinney emerged as kind of a, you know, a player who can be trusted in single high looks. Again, someone I thought could rearrange what that giants are able to do and take that defense to the next level. I thought they would get some immediate impacts from their rookies, especially Aziz O'Jolari. And then, of course, I thought, you know, Kenny Goliday coming in and some

improvement from the scheme, from the offensive line, from especially Daniel Jones taking more of a leap, would lead to a lot of wins, would lead to a competitive team. It was the opposite. So when it happens like that, I mean, Nick was on to this early. He saw after that third preseason game, he's like, Listen, that offensive line, it's going to be hard to move the ball on.
