Welcome to our Thursday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

Today I'm talking about 10 reasons it's better to have the ministry of the Holy Spirit than it is to have Jesus in his physical body with us.

That's a radical statement, but that's exactly what Jesus said in John chapter 16 verse 7.

And so I was reading that not long ago and the Lord just spoke to me about put together something that will just go through 10 reasons.

That it's better to have the Holy Spirit because most of us would disagree with Jesus and say, oh Jesus we'd rather have you in your physical body here with us.

And yet Jesus said it's better to have the Holy Spirit.

So obviously we don't value the Holy Spirit as much as Jesus does.

And so this is an attempt to help us understand the ministry of the Holy Spirit better.

And I just wrote down 10 reasons it's better to have the Holy Spirit in us than it is to have Jesus with us.

We're now on number, I think it's number 7 out of this list.

I haven't got time to go back through everything I've taught, but I'm talking specifically about the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

And I started focusing yesterday specifically on the gift of speaking in tongues.

And we could do a month's worth of teaching on the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

And so this is by no means a detailed thing, but I just want to focus on this gift of speaking in tongues because it is criticized so much.

And people think of it as being just total gibberish and foolishness and they don't value this.
