So Sunday evening, I just returned to Crested Butte after a 12-day trip to Washington, D.C. and New York.

And it turns out, over the course of those 12 days, I learned some things and kind of had some takeaways from that trip that I wanted to share with you. And so today we've got another

addition of 10 quick things. This could be called 10 quick takeaways as well, I suppose,

and just a few notes that I wanted to share with you now that I am back. And just before we

get started here, of course, I want to give a shout out to a few of our

newest Blister Plus members.

Okay, so number one from our 10 quick things. First, I'd want to say

thanks to all of the people in the Blister community and the Mountain Gazette community and the

many of you that are kind of members of both of those communities who came out to Mike Rogie's talk at the Library of Congress.

Mike and I had told you about this thing. You heard about it in our conversation about a river

runs through it. And anyway, that was in honor of the 250th anniversary of America. And

Mike gave a great talk. And in addition to that, it just was

really cool to have a little bit of a mini blister summit gathering and got to meet some great
