Former President Donald Trump told Fox News that if needed,

he would be open to serving as Speaker of the House

for a quote, short period of time.

That's until Republican lawmakers settle on a candidate to take the job.

Trump told Fox he's focused on his presidential campaign but would be open to

serving for a 30, 60 or 90 day period.

Trump would need to earn the majority of votes.

A source familiar with the discussions told CNN,

Trump is considering going to Capitol Hill in the coming days to speak to Republicans.

Separately, Trump allegedly talked about potentially sensitive information about U.S. nuclear

subs with a member of his Marlago resort. That's according to a report from

ABC News. The network sources say the member is an Australian billionaire who

allegedly shared the information with quote more than a dozen foreign officials

several of his own employees and a

handful of journalists. According to ABC, special counsel Jacksmith's team
