U.S. officials believe that Israel Hamas war could look different by January.

They expect Israel's intense ground invasion in

Gaza to transition to a more targeted strategy against Hamas. But a senior

administration official said the White House is still deeply concerned about

Israel's operations over the next several weeks.

Israel has expanded its operations in southern Gaza and conditions continue to deteriorate.

The Hamas government says more than 60% of Gaza homes have been

destroyed since the war began. Here was Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin
