There's a new boogeyman to be aware of in the dating realm.

Pocketing.

And basically what that is, is when you're dating somebody, but they don't tell anybody about you.

I mean, are you really dating?

You are. They're not.

I imagine that's in the early stages, and I think there's a difference between pocketing and just not bringing people up to speed. I'm going, I'm going out with a guy tonight. Or I'm going out with a gal tonight. And that turns into like, hey, we've been going out for like six months and you haven't told anybody about me. That's what I'm saying. Like, you can think you're dating.

I just don't think, you don't need to turn forward.

You're not really dating that person. Yeah. You're having sex with them. Or at least they're not dating you. Correct. Yeah, right? Like, that would be super odd. Even in like three months. Like, you didn't meet anybody in their family or any friends. Right. You never had any kind of connection inside there?

Nothing at all.

That's right. That's basically, yeah. Where do you guys go? Restaurants and this one bar. Right. And there are those people that are in our lives that are perpetually single, and they seem, they don't seem to have any idea why they're single yet, all do. It's going to get bad.

Ten or more people who have no idea why they're single, but their friends see it very clearly.

Now what's so wrong with being specific about what you wanted a partner?

Shoot, that's why I'm divorced. I didn't speak up front about what I needed and was looking for in my special schmopee. So what if I like to coat my feet in powdered sugar and

wanted to lick it off? So what if I like to put used toilet paper in the waste basket instead of down the toilet?

So what if I'd like to Winnie the Pooh at home, thinking she might be enticed to sing some karaoke?

Sure, there are things I'd do for her as well.

I'd like to chew on her toenails.
