The Minter Top Ten!

I took it about myself to find the ten most common nightmares and what they mean.

Ooh, okay.

It's weird as I've not had too many of these.

You know, there's one that's high up on the list that everybody says that they've had. I have never had this one, so I'm interested to see if you guys have. Bottom of the list, they go with the out-of-control vehicle, break failure, stuff like that. Never. So if you've ever had that nightmare, it points to a perceived lack of direction or inability to steer your life's path.

It can be triggered by outside influences forcing you into a situation that you did not choose. All right. I wonder what you dreamed about with the same thought process before the automobile. Are you a runaway horse? Yeah, probably. Is there a stampede chasing? Carriage and wagon that's gone loose.

I've had a dream where I've got rear-ended.

Hey, that was not a dream, Ted.

Oh, let's see here.

Death or illness of a loved one.

Yeah.

Frequently literal reflecting a conscious fear or anxiety about losing somebody that you care about.

It can also represent a life transition signifying that your relationship with that person or your life stage is changing.

I've never had that dream.

I did, and this is crazy.

My parents were in Virginia to visit my grandfather, who was not doing well, he was in the hospital. Anyway, I'm home alone. I have a dream that my grandfather walked into my bedroom, where I'm sleeping, sat at the foot of my bed, and put his hand on my leg. All right, right? Just looked at me. That was it. I woke up because the phone rang and my mother told me your grandfather just died.

And I, like, that was one of the, and who knows? But I was like, it was just so profound. And I didn't tell her, I told her a little bit later. I didn't tell her at the time. It was her dad, right? But, like, seriously, I had the dream. You walked in my bedroom. It's kind of shook his head, put his hand on my leg, very comforting.

Phone rang, I wake up, and she's like, your grandfather's dead.

In my brain, I'm like, I know. I know. Dude, I had one that's a little too coincidental, man. I had a dream that my uncle Phil died. Then when I woke up, he was fine. He made him. My barber, Phil Mantuto, had passed away.
