First up, Hulk Hogan versus Rick Flair from WrestleMania 8.

Will it happen?

When Rick Flair came into the WWF in 1991, everyone was convinced this is clearly building

to the real world champion Rick Flair versus the actual WWF champion Hulk Hogan.

But originally planned for WrestleMania 8 in the Hoosier Dome as the main event plans change

when House Show reactions reportedly didn't meet expectations.

So the WWF pivoted to Hulk Hogan versus Sid Justice, which eventually would be billed as

Hulk Cogan's last match in the WWF, though he would return for WrestleMania 9 winning the

world title.

Also, we got Macho Man Randy Savage versus Rick Flair instead.

Both good matches, but the idea of not getting Flair versus

Hogan at WrestleMania 8 because of poor house show reactions to me is one of the biggest

mistakes ever. How many times have you gone to an episode of Raw or Smackdown or a house show

and everyone's going crazy for something.
