And Chip, yet another interesting week around the Texas football program.

For those of us on the outside, it feels like things turned on Charlie Strong, like, overnight, very quickly. Obviously, two losses,

not great defensive performances, but why do you think the heat has cranked up so quickly

four games into the season? Well, I think there are a few factors going on here. And first and

foremost was not that they lost to Cal,

but the way they lost in terms of 18 plays of 11 yards or longer given up

by a defense that looked like it was in a prevent defense,

the entire game and a secondary that was just lost.

I mean, big plays given up and lack of communication and just looked poorly coached.

A game, Texas led by 10, three different times.

And just, you know, that's Charlie's side of the ball, the defense.

The offense is putting up points, put up 50 against Notre Dame, you know, put up

43 against Cal.

But, you know, there's the defense, you know, falling apart and going backwards,

regressing.

And I think that that's the fear.

And the, you know, the driving question among the forces of change, we'll call them, the big money boosters who tend to get
