I'm Stuart Mandel, joined by Bruce Feldman, and this podcast is coming to you.

The Monday morning after week six, a week that actually extended into Sunday because of Georgia,

South Carolina. This seems like a million years ago now, Bruce, but on Saturday, especially

being at the Fox Studios, there was, OU, Texas was a really big deal for FS1, and so we did an hour-long pregame show,

we had Katie Nolan out at the state fair and all kinds of stuff. And then the game happened.

And obviously, no playoff stakes to speak of, but it felt, I kept saying this, it feels like there

is a lot at stake. And most of it revolves around Charlie Strong and his

job security. It was another terrible defensive performance for the horns, and I'm wondering if

you think at this point if he has any chance of saving himself.

You know, Stu, let me start by saying this. I watch the game, and yeah, their defense is terrible.

They are really, really bad in the secondary.

D.D. Westbrook ate them up.

And, you know, have they gotten better on that side of it?

And the secondary, it doesn't look like yet.

But I do feel like this is an improved team overall than what it was last year.

I mean, they're much better on offense.

They're multi-dimensional.

I feel like there's a, there's, there are reasons for optimism.

I mean, this is year three there for him.

And you look at their depth chart.

I mean, I counted it up.
