0:00.0	Welcome to the Preers of Rest podcast. I'm your host, Asherita, and today we are agreeing with God
0:11.7	when he says that in Christ, we are redeemed. So take a deep breath and quiet your heart as we become aware of God's loving presence around us and within us.
0:31.6	Today's passage comes from Colossians chapter 1, verses 13 to 14.

1:17.3	darkness you rescued us out of Satan's grip you transferred us into the kingdom of Jesus as your redeemed ones. Oh God, we praise you. You are so, so good.
1:38.2	So take a moment now to praise God for calling you redeemed, for pulling you out of the dominion of darkness, out of the
1:48.1	kingdom of darkness, for transferring you into the kingdom of light. If you are in Christ,
1:56.4	that is true of you. Take some time now. Just praise him for that. Let's continue now by expressing our neediness.
2:28.5	Lord, we confess that there are many days when we live as if the kingdom of darkness still has a claim on us,
2:40.1	as if we are somehow victims to dark spiritual forces.
2:44.7	But that is not true in Christ.
2:47.5	We are redeemed.

2:50.7	We are victorious. Every promise of God is
2:54.4	yes and amen in Christ Jesus. So help us to live into the reality that we are your redeemed ones.
