we begin with a holiday question. Did you know that Halloween has a smell? It's fear. And

those who make their living in the haunted house industry are now bottling it to make your

annual visit even spookier. According to the Wall Street Journal, places like Hershey

Park in Pennsylvania are using diffusers and fog machines to push scents like stinky

poo, mildew tunnels, creepy cave, attic, and werewolf through their attractions. Jason

Egan is in the business of scaring people and he's used or helped create hundreds of spine

tingling stinks. The worst of them, he says, is dumpster. Using just the right amount

is always key. As he told the journal, he wants people to say, oh, that's gross, but

not, uh oh, I think I'm going to throw up.

The best way to decompress from a Halloween fright, or just life in general, might be

a family dinner. A new study finds that regular meals with everyone together at the same time

works wonders of the 1000 adult survey this past September. On behalf of the American Heart

Association, 91% said eating as a family dropped household stress levels. Busy parents

know it's not always easy or even possible with sports practices, music lessons and all

the other after school and evening activities. But a Johns Hopkins doctor said it's worth

trying, even if you start slow and build on the number of family dinners from there.

Sam Adventure Baker lived up to his name and conquered El Capitan. It took four days

for the Colorado 8-year-old to scale the 3,200-foot sheer granite face of the Yosemite landmark.
