Ever since we did the story on Mind Blank, I'm much more aware of my mind-blanks.

Like McAfee.

I couldn't come up with McAfee for a few seconds.

That's fine. We all do that. Yeah, but you knew what you were thinking of. You I couldn't come up with McAfee for a few seconds. That's fine.

You knew what you were thinking of.

You just couldn't put a name to it.

Same thing happened to me yesterday.

I think we recorded landslide on the show.

And I recall my daughter saying that was their favorite Dixie Chick song. And, you know, I had to give them a little education. It's not a Dixie Chick's song. I mean, it's a-smashing pumpkin. It's a nice cover. They did a nice cover of it, yeah. Yeah, but it's unnecessary. I think the better one was Smashing Pumpkins. The best one is Fleetwood Mac.

Yeah. Well, but the cover. The cover. The cover. The best cover. The best cover. Yeah. And then I was thinking, well, you know, Pumpkins was one of those bands that I really didn't appreciate it at first. Yeah. Now I like them. And I was thinking of another band that I didn't really appreciate it first and I could I was singing in

my head and I couldn't and I could not come up with system of down oh yeah yeah because I

thought at first all these are just they're trying to be weird and different and then after I

listened to them for a while it's like no they really are weird and different yeah sir ain't

ain't nobody like system of a down and I refused to it up. I was going to let it come to me. And finally about five hours later it did. How would you know to look it up? What would you look at up? I would have been some song lyrics. You just kept Googling, wake up. I think I maybe know a song title or two that I could have plugged in and figured it out that way.

Is there a Shazam for that where you could just like blurt out random lyrics to do it?

I think Google has a feature that you can hum a song, but I think you have to not suck at humming because I've tried it a couple of times.

And apparently I suck at humming.

I have no idea.

Your humming has no rhythm. You can't just Google what's the song in my head right now? No. Not yet. No. Soon you'll be able to. Probably sooner than you think. How do you feel about coming around on a band later? Are you just grateful you're into the music now or do you wish you would have been into them the whole time? I'll tell you, I'll tell. What I did, when I did, this is an old band, but they're still out there, and they've said they're in Rock and Hall of Fame now. In the 80s, I was not into them, although I knew they were around, was the cure. And I finally really started getting into cure within the past four or five years. And I never was into them at the time.

And so, and that was weird because I was into that kind of, I was in all kinds of music
