And we begin with a team of divers who've been planning to explore a sunken World War II ship off the coast of Norway, finding something much more mysterious.

About 50 feet below the surface, the trio came face to face with a large floating orb that looked to be about five feet around.

At first they thought it was a giant jellyfish, but their flashlights revealed

there were hundreds of thousands of little animals inside the see-through sack. It turns out they had

stumbled across a giant squid egg. Not only was the rare sight a great thing for

science, but the divers say it was an experience they will never forget.

In political news this morning, word that the House of Representatives will take a significant step this week in the impeachment inquiry into President

Trump.

On Thursday, Democratic leaders will take a full House vote on a resolution or plan that lays out the next steps of the investigation, which will be public.

So far nearly all of the hearings have been held behind closed doors.

Republicans and the White House have argued for weeks that the impeachment process is not legal

because the House hasn't taken a vote on the Articles of impeachment.

But Thursday's vote is still not that vote. Although significant, the move this week is simply to

acknowledge the investigation and establish the ground rules going forward.

Game six of the World Series is taking place tonight in Houston with the home team leading the series three games to two.

That means the Astros could clinch their second world championship in three years this evening,

but so far in an unusual twist, each game has been won by the visiting team.

It's more typical for a home team to have the advantage.

On the mound tonight for Houston is their regular season ace Justin Verlander.

As we mentioned last week, though, he's the only pitcher in baseball history to go oh and five in World Series games.

Pitching for the Nationals will be Stephen Strasbourg who is for and oh this post-season
