Good morning and welcome the kid news. I'm Tori. Today is Friday October 26, 2018 and we begin with a new color pumpkin popping up on porches.

This Halloween, teal is the new orange. It's a way to alert kids with food

allergies, and there are 6 million of you out there, that a house is safe for trick-or-treating.

The Teal Pumpkin Project began in Tennessee a few years ago and has now gone

nationwide. Anyone can participate. You just have to paint your gourd a nice blue-green shade,

put it out front, and then offer non-food treats like

stickers or glow sticks in a container separate from food items to all the ghosts,

goblins, witches, and superheroes that come your way.

Halloween is a kid-centric holiday,

and organizers say, this small gesture goes a long way

toward making sure all feel included.

Tonight, the World Series picks up in Los Angeles, 2,982 miles away, and at least 20 degrees warmer than where it started.

Right now, the Red Sox are up two games to none over

the Dodgers which historically gives Boston an 87% chance of winning the fall

Classic. The Dodgers of course are hoping to make the most of Home Field Advantage, and they have some

history on their side.

Ten teams have won the title after being down, two to none, and three of those comebacks were

made by the Dodgers.
