New testing of dust and rocks collected by astronauts Eugene Cernan and Harrison Schmidt

on a lunar rock in December of 1972 suggests the moon is actually 40 million years older

than previous estimates. According to CNN, the recent detection of Zurcon crystals in

the samples was the ah-ha finding that helped scientists hone in on a more accurate birthday.

Until now, the when had been a lingering question, whereas the how has been dialed in for some

time. Researchers believe that in the early days of our solar system, more than four billion

years ago, a marisized object crashed into Earth, flinging off a large rocky piece that

eventually became our moon.

Who knew an airplane could pop a wheelie? A jet-blue flight from Barbados to JFK in New

York had just landed and was at the gate Sunday night when its tail suddenly dropped and

it's no shot 30 degrees in the air. Many passengers were already off, but those still

on board got quite a ride with one saying it felt like the plane was about to do a backflip.

A spokesperson for jet-blue blamed the seasawing on an unexpected shift in weight during

depraining. The flight crew maghivered and asked the remaining travelers to spread out,

hoping doing so would rebalance the plane. It did and no one was injured, but the plane

was damaged and taken out of service for inspection.

The rock isn't loving the wax. The Musée Gravon in Paris, France just revealed a new wax

figure of actor Dwayne Johnson, and while it looks like him in many ways, it doesn't
