Today we're talking a little bit more about the auto market in China,

as well as an update from Edmonds on Tesla's active safety features

and some news on the Tokyo Auto Show.

Tesla stock on Monday did end up giving back its gains that we saw in pre-market.

As I mentioned we were at 350 in the pre-market.

We ended up closing the day at $3.37.2 cents, down 2.34%. This was kind of on the back of the macro environment so the

Nasdaq had a tough day as well down 0.64%. I think a lot of Tesla

investors were hoping for a better day yesterday on the China news. However, I don't think until we get really solid concrete information on the agreement

between Tesla and China.

I don't think we're going to see kind of that rise in the stock price that we were that many people

were hoping for at least.

Supercharger network update.

We added one more station bringing the count up to 1,033 stations internationally with a new station

opening up in Cookville, Tennessee.

As the China story kind of develops, I wanted to spend a little bit more time digging into

the auto market in China just to kind of understand how the market currently looks and what the market

potential could be in the future. I think a lot of people would start out with how

big the battery electric vehicle market is in China currently. That's not where I'm going to start with Tesla because as we've talked about in the past
