I'm here tonight to ring the alarm days, to say we're deep into authoritarian control

in our nation, and that we have an obligation for hundreds of years our forefathers and four fathers

and four mothers fought and died to preserve this vision of freedom.

Ah, yes, the always dynamic Democrat Senator Jeff Merkley,

muffly Merckley, I think, is his grandfather, maybe his father.

He has been on the Senate floor for, what about 16 hours now, delivering that dynamic speech because he really hates Trump.

Democratic Senator holds Senate floor for 13 hours and counting to protest Trump.

That's the headline.

That headline was three hours ago.

So now I guess it's 16 hours that Senator Muffley-Merkley has been, sorry, it's a Dr. Strangelove reference that I'm ponying up there.

But Democratic Senator Jeff Merckley of Oregon, a prominent Senate progressive.

That means left-wing radical extremist, held the Senate floor overnight and into early Wednesday morning,

speaking for more than 13 consecutive hours, now at about 16 hours and counting, to protest President

Trump and his first nine months back in the Oval Office.

It's a mental illness, it genuinely is, and Trump derangement syndrome.

Merckley began speaking shortly before 6.30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, Tuesday evening,

he was still speaking as of 7.40 a.m. Wednesday morning.

I've got to say well beyond that because MSDNC was just going to him a short time ago,

and he was still standing there being tedious, being tedious.

He teaches when he's got free time.

He goes to college campuses in Oregon, and he teaches courses in being tedious.

You're going to spring a lot of tedious people out of the universities in Oregon going forward.
