And we begin with more sleep for California kids in grade 6 to 12.

The Golden State now has a first in the nation law requiring

later start times for public schools. Starting in the fall of 2022, middle schools can't

ring the bell earlier than 8 a.m. and high schools must wait until 8.30.

Supporters point to research that shows kids who get more sleep are healthier and do better in school.

Opponents don't necessarily argue the science,

but believe each school district should decide for itself

what is best for its students.

They also worry that later start times

mean working parents won't be able to drop their kids off in the

morning and after school activities may get pushed later into the evening.

It's the biggest stage yet for the Democrats who want to be president.

Tonight at Otterbine University in Ohio, 12 candidates will face off for their fourth debate.

This time the event will include every candidate who qualified instead of splitting the massive

field over two nights.

Former Vice President Joe Biden and Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren will be center

stage reflecting their lead in polls while lower performing candidates

will be placed towards the wings.

The playoffs are in full swing and so too is speculation that Major League Baseball has

unjuced its balls for the post-season.
