All right, rescue operations are in full swing on the Tibetan side of Mount Everest.

After a snowstorm stranded about, oh, I don't know, 1,000 people at high altitude campsites.

And it wasn't just any snowstorm.

Even locals are saying that they have not seen a snowstorm like this in an early

October in many a year.

Many a year.

Now, these stranded mountain climbers, they're not the only ones needing rescue.

A couple of would-be explorers in England.

They spent 30 hours trapped in a cave system last weekend when the area was hit with an extra-tropical cyclone named Storm Amy.

So what is an extra tropical cyclone? I don't know, but it's kind of in the name. It's bad,

right? Heavy winds, rains, et cetera, et cetera, and they're in caves it's extra it's extra it's just extra

over a guardrail and then fell 60 feet below and we all agree yeah that sucks but at least he could

be rescued you see in nash, a skydiving instructor,

he became separated from his student mid-air and crashed to his death. Meanwhile, the student was found

stuck in a tree where he'd been for hours. Yes, his shoot open, but I'm going to go ahead and guess

he probably had to change his underwear. But eventually, he was in fact rescued, and he can't always predict when things are going to go

wrong. But other times, well, other times the writing is on the wall. Take the eighth annual

International Taco Bell Ultramarathon. The idea is to run 30.9 miles while grabbing something

to eat at nine or 10 of the local Taco Bell locations.
