And we begin with basketball legend LeBron James making another slam dunk,

this time not on the hard court, but in the political arena.

James and his Voting Rights Organization, more than a vote, has helped recruit more than 10,000

people to volunteer at polling places on election day.

That may not seem like a big deal, but there's a big shortage of poll workers due to the

pandemic, especially in communities of color. And as a thank you the NBA is hosting first-time poll workers

recruited through James campaign as virtual fans for tomorrow's

NBA finals game between the Miami Heat and the LA Lakers.

Right now the Lakers lead the series two games to one.

The second largest US movie theater chain has been hit hard, this time by James Bond.

Already pummeled in the pandemic, Regal theaters were banking on the highly anticipated 25th Bond thriller, No Time to Die, to draw people back in.

But the film's release date has now been bumped from next month to April of 2021.

As we've mentioned on Kid News, other major studios

have made similar decisions recently,

including Marvel's Black Widow

and Stephen Spielberg's remake of West Side Story.

With no new film releases on the horizon, Regal's owner announced it has no choice but to

temporarily close all 671 of its theaters in Britain and the US starting

this Thursday. President Trump is now back at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. He left Walter Reed Medical Center yesterday

evening three days after being admitted with the coronavirus. Doctors say he will

finish his treatment and recovery at the White House, which reportedly has its own medical unit, staff with doctors and nurses, and if needed, enough equipment to allow for surgery.
