And we begin with an 11-year-old golfer defined the odds to make two holes in one in the

same round. Jake Martinez of Tucson, Arizona was playing in the U.S. kids' Palm Springs

Open in Rancho, Mirage, California earlier this month when he won shot the 5th hole, only

to do it again on the 12th. Like every golfer, Jake's dad Rick has been chasing the elusive

ace, but says he always knew his son would beat him to it. But two on the same day, in

the same game, dads as blown away as the rest of the golf world. According to the National

Hole in One Registry, the odds of hitting just one, about one in 12,000. Two in the same

round, that'd be one in 67 million. Jake's reportedly pretty humble about the accomplishment,

but it was certainly a nice birthday present. He turns 12 tomorrow.

One of the most active volcanoes on Earth is at it again. Kill away on Hawaii, started

bubbling up lava and belching smoke Wednesday, prompting the U.S. Geological Survey to issue

warnings to airlines taking off and landing on the big island. But unlike a few years ago,

when the hot lava ran down the sides of the volcano and into nearby neighborhoods, scientists

believe all the action this time will stay inside the crater, or at least within the limits

of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The biggest danger is reportedly downwind. When water vapor

combines with carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide, it forms Vogue, or volcanic smog, which isn't
