This is Brett and Alice welcoming you to the very first episode ever of the prosecutors podcast where you're here with us at the beginning or joining us years down the line if we make it that far.

Oftentimes these podcasts dive straight into a case and you don't know anything about the person you're hearing from.

So I guess maybe I'm being a little presumptuous that anyone wants to know anything about me, but I thought we'd introduce ourselves, get to know each other a little before we dive into a case.

I think that's a great idea.

But Brett, tell us about you.

So as you can probably tell, I'm from the South originally.

I am a lawyer.

I went to Harvard Law School.

Since then, I've worked in a lot of different jobs.

I've worked for the state, I've worked for the federal government.

I've clirked for judges.

1:56.0

I've worked in private practice.

1:58.0

I've seen the law from a lot of different views before becoming a prosecutor.

And hopefully that experience will be something that I can bring to bear to this podcast.
