For the first 20 years of my adult life, I lived a life that I thought I should lead.

I was the good girl like I was taught to be when I was a kid.

I met the man, I had the career, I had the kids.

However, I also experienced depression, panic disorder, a marriage breakdown and a load of other stuff that wasn't sold to me with the big dream.

On my 40th birthday, I chose to trust my gut instead of my mind for once and then everything changed for me. So this podcast is all about

my journey, the things I've learned and how I can help you start living your life, not the one

I got some really wise advice from one of my mentors really, really early on. We did this super cool thing where we would coach one of our peers and then someone would listen

and then we'd have a mentor that would listen in.

And then at the end of it, she'd give you feedback.

And my first ever coaching session with the mentor.

So let's say I've done like 10 hours, 10 hours.

I've done thousands now.

This is 10 hours in in and the minute the call

finishes I dive into apologizing to my client of how bad I was oh I'm so sorry I missed that bit and I

should have asked this and I did and my client as I'm I sorry, at my mentor as I'm banging on about it, she goes,

Emma, stop it.

Never dump on a client.

So the reason why I'm telling you that story is I'm going to do my very best not to dump

on you every time I trip over a word or I don't quite get it right.
