A survey through scripture with Pastor John Corson. It is our desire to bring you a systematic

study of the entire Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book.

For quite some time here on Searchlight, we have been looking at the story of Saul and

David.

It has been an interesting contrast between a man who walks in the

flesh and a man who walks in the spirit and the lessons have been very important

as we have considered how to apply them to our own lives.

On our last program we continue this story by looking at First Samuel Chapter 26.

In this chapter we see another opportunity for David to do away with his problem by killing Saul.

David and Abbeshai had snuck into Saul's camp at night and found Saul sleeping next to his spear in water.

Let's now join Pastor John and see what David does with this opportunity.

Take now the spear that is at his bolster and the cruise of water and let's go.

Oh, David, you're growing.
