What's great to see all of you welcome to our seventh

Ron Paul Institute Washington Conference.

I can't believe we've done seven of these.

When we started doing this in 2016,

we didn't think it would be successful.

We didn't think people would come out,

but looking around, we're grateful that you have.

I just want to go through.

I was just joking with Josh and Jennifer over here

that I never really get to do a speech at our own events

because I'm too busy worrying

and making sure everything's going okay.

So I just have a couple of comments rather than a speech.

But I have to start with some of the stuff that we have to do

and that I enjoy doing,

which is the people that need to be thanked.

And first I want to thank our speakers.

I think you will agree a great lineup of speakers this time.

I'm a little selfish because I always ask people to speak

that I really want to hear what they have to say

at that point in time.
