Hello, everyone, and welcome to another version of Courtside with Coach J. Rod, my partner in

crime, Ira, his jury duty. We've all been there. We've all at least been to the cutoff,

and I've never made it, but he got selected, so he's all in this week. But we are fortunate to

have with us, one of my dear friends and a guy I've known really since he

got in the business, assistant head coach, general manager, assistant coach.

I don't know, you got so many titles for I don't even know what they are.

You've been a head coach.

You've been an assistant coach.

You've won championships.

I mean, you've been there, man.

Thanks for coming.

Absolutely. And you're right. I said this prior to us jumping on without your guidance at a very

young age. I don't know if I would be in this position. I don't know whether to thank you or

blame you that I stayed in this crazy business, but you're right. I've seen it from every seat

and it's been a fun ride.

Hey, I will guarantee your lovely wife and mother of your three children and infant daughter

probably would like to kill me, but that's okay. Someday, someday she's probably happy.

She's been a trooper, as she tells me all the time, I love you. We'll make the best moves for our family in your career, but you did a terrible job of telling me what this was going to be like.

And she's right. I didn't quite give her the whole story. Yeah, I think every basketball coach's wife says the same thing at some point.

But they love it along the journey.

It's a special we all know.

And that's why we're addicted to the sport that we love and helping young men grow and so forth.
