And with that, 1 Kings chapter 22. We're going to pick it up in verse 31 and we'll finish the chapter and with it the book tonight, Lord willing. We didn't quite make it last week.

But we're going to actually pick it up in verse 29 for the sake of context.

While you're turning there, I do want to just ask

if you would a personal favor. I just learned today that a very dear friend of mine went

home to be with the Lord. And I just would ask if you would remember to pray for the Davis family.

This was that friend that the Proverbs says sticks closer than a brother.

And he was an elder on my board and so they are in St. Mary's Idaho. He had been, among other things,

battling cancer, had a liver transplant a few years back. It has just really been through

very much. And he told his mom and his wife in the ambulance

on the way to the hospital.

This was on Sunday.

Actually I think it was Saturday night when they took him to Cordelia in Idaho that he was

just tired and he was ready

to go home to be with the Lord.

And he was my age, 53.

So a young man he leaves behind his wife of over 30 years and their precious 13-year-old

daughter, Kayla.

And so I dedicated her as a baby.

And anyway, so just if you would as a favor to me, pray for the Davis family.

I would really appreciate that.
