Chad is an exciting day today.

We have wrapped up second Samuel last week and this week we are

starting a new book always a fun time to be starting a new book but this book

and it starts right where the other one ends.

It's not like a radical shift or anything like that.

We're gonna get into David in his old age, you know, you would have thought we had David's last words and then we had some other stuff about some past stuff that David did and you kind of thought maybe that was it. I mean, usually when you get someone's last words, you think that that's the end of that but

nope first kings is gonna start with

David as an old man

yeah where i mean this is this is a pretty easy transition

a lot of books like you're at the end, okay, completely new story. No completely new story here. And it's like you barely finished second Samuel and then p phew, you're just jumping right into the next sequential act in in David's life.

Not a huge amount of introduction that we're going to have to do here.

No, no. No, I mean it's it. It's like the kind of from Genesis to Exodus, right?

I mean, you're really, you end with a couple of guys dying,

and then next thing, you know, you turn the page and there's Exodus one and it's just a

continuation of the story so that's where we find ourselves in in First Kings.

In fact just to talk about a couple introductory things here in to in the Greek translation of called the

septuigent of first and second Samuel and the first and second Kings actually all the
