Okay, we're here next Thursday.

So we'll be here. We're really in the heart of this book of 1st John. So this is kind of the

center cut of the fillet. So you're here at a great time. So I want to start in a word of prayer.

Father, as we look now into your word,

we ask that you would illumine our understanding,

give us insight that only the Holy Spirit can use me as a tool

to try to make the scripture clear and to make it relevant.

And so, Lord, bless these men.

Thank you for their commitment to you,

for them to wake up early, drive through the rain,

to be here.

May they leave with much in their mind and in their heart. In Christ's

name, amen. Amen. All right, I want you to take your Bible. Turn with me to 1st John, all right? Book of 1st John and we have

come to chapter 3 and for those of you who are new we're going verse by verse through the book of 1st John.

And this is, I love this book. It's a great book.
