We'll be here next Thursday morning as well, so we're in a little bit of a

groove here and where all systems go. So I want to begin in a word of prayer.

Father, as we now begin this study, we ask for your assistance, we ask for your guidance.

As we look into your word together, I pray that you would give us eyes to see, a mind to understand,

a heart to believe, be at work in us now as we study this text in 1st John in Christ's name. Amen.

Okay, men, we're in 1st John, 1st John, Chapter 2, the last two verses of the book of 1st John.

And if you're new, we're going verse by,

we are moving verse by verse through the book of 1 John and we're moving two or three verses

at a time sometimes one verse at a time and we want to give careful attention to each word and to each phrase that we find.

And so I want to begin by reading these two verses. If're taking notes the title of this is righteous
