We got a great study in store as always because we're going to be in the Bible.

We're going to be in the Word of God and something that I need, you need each one of us needs.

So I just want to dive straight into this.

keep plowing through the book of First John. It has so much to say to us about

the Christian life and how to follow Christ. So I want to welcome those

We're about a block away from the Bush Presidential Library. If that gives you a point of reference. So you're welcome to come be here. We've got a room, huge room, packed full of men who have come to study the word of God. So that's what we're going to do.

So I want to start with the word of prayer. Father, as we begin this time to look into your word, we ask that the ministry of the Holy Spirit would be strong in each one of us, that he would be the master teacher, that you would give us eyes to see, ears to hear, heart to believe and to obey.

And I pray that you would fill me with your spirit, use me as a tool, as an instrument in your hand to make your word

clear.

So Father, we commit ourselves to you now, pray this in Christ's name. Amen. Okay, First John, chapter 2.
