Hello there. This is Mary Demuth and this is Pray Every Day where I have the joy and

privilege of praying you through the Bible verse by verse. We're in the New Testament now in the book,

the book of 1st John and I'm going to be reading today from 1 John 2 verses 15 through 29.

But before that, I want to pray for someone battling a health issue.

So Jesus, I pray for my listener today who is hurting and they are not healing and they

want to be healing and they are just worn out from healing. And so, Lord, I pray for

respite today. I pray for healing. I pray for intelligence from the doctors of knowing what to do.

I pray that you would give them the wherewithal and the ability to endure. Sometimes it feels like

enduring persecution, but it's enduring health issues and it's hard.

Lord, would you speak to them in the quiet moments of the night when they're awake?

Would you bring alleviation to their pain? Would you be the place and the rock that they go to

when things are hard? Would you sing a song of deliverance over them tonight? I pray this in Jesus

name.

This is what it says.

Don't love the world or the things that are in the world.

If anyone loves the world, the Father's love isn't in him.

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh,

the lust of the eyes and the pride of life isn't the fathers, but it is the world's. The world is

passing away with its lusts, but he who does God's will remains forever. Little children, these are the end times.

And as you heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many Antichrists have arisen.
