Okay, so picking up at the beginning of chapter six, chapter six verse one,

dare any of you having a matter against another,

go to law before the unrighteous and not before the saints.

So he says, he's about to talk about lawsuits. And he talks about one Christian suing another Christian

as dare you, as in how dare you

so you have a matter against someone else you have some issue and you go to law before the unrighteous so you go to some secular

you go to the regular law court right some secular court

which weren't really secular then of course because they're pagan but

you go to an outside court, rather than addressing

this issue within the community.

That's what he means by taking it before the saints.

Do you not know that the saints will judge the world?

And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

So we've already talked about this language of saints, which is really translating holy ones,

that he used to refer at the very beginning to the people of Corinth.

It's talking about them as holy, not just as holy people, but the holy ones in the Old Testament,

in the Greek, it's the same word, are the angels.
