And I think that could be what makes Chronicles a little bit confusing. It jumps way around in the timeline. It's definitely confusing for me that way. These were David's mighty men and included the mighty three and the mighty 30, along with many warriors from different tribes and several other nations.

The chronicler ended by reminding the returned exiles that these men were determined to make David king over all Israel.
