Hey, pull up a chair. It's tax on tap with David Axelrod and Mike Murphy.

Murphy, let's set this up for everybody. I think between us, we have what 157 years of

0:29.4

campaign experience. Yeah, we need to be carbon dated in the campaign laboratory. We have

0:34.7

been at this a long time. We've been talking politics a long time. We have been, and by the

0:39.4

way, kudos on that Eisenhower campaign, but we've not only done campaigns, we've done presidential

0:46.9

campaigns. And my theory has always been that presidential campaigns are an animal unto

0:52.6

themselves that it's a little bit like NASA. You know, you can, you can roll around in the simulator,

0:59.1

but until you're in orbit and you understand the G forces of a presidential race, it's still a

1:37.8

co-sponsored by CNN, but it's it is sort of a watershed event in presidential races in Iowa

1:47.1

when this register poll comes out. And what it said was that Joe Biden continues to lead with 24

1:56.2

percent Bernie Sanders at 16 Elizabeth Warren at 15 Pete Buttigieg at 14 and Kamala Harris at

2:06.0

seven. No one else above 2 percent. Biden's down a third from December. His enthusiasm raised as

2:18.4

people who say they're enthusiastic about their choice far below the other top tier candidates.

2:25.8

How do you interpret all that? Well, you know, this is the big gut wrenching poll because it's the

2:31.1

one taken most seriously. And although it's early, you know, we have a lot of campaign left to go.

2:36.7

It's the beginning. I call it the end of the first inning now. And I thought the most interesting
