Hello and welcome to bouncing back with James.

0:08.8

My name is James Millerton and I have to say I am very, very excited about starting this podcast.

0:15.6

First of all, thank you so much for tuning in and listening wherever you heard about it from my

0:19.9

social media, from a friend.

0:21.4

This has been a long time coming this podcast and I'm going to tell you a little bit about

0:26.9

why I came up with the idea and some of the topics and things that I'm going to be discussing

0:31.3

further down the line in future episodes. And I'm also going to give you a bit of background

0:35.9

about who James Middleton is, who he really is,

0:39.3

not just what you see on social media. And there I was a few weeks ago. In fact, I've been

0:45.4

thinking about doing a podcast for for months and months now. And it was one of those things,

0:49.7

you know, you have all those thoughts running through your head and, oh, is anyone going to listen?

0:53.8

1:11.8

start talking and I actually took the advice I give out to a lot of people a lot of the time

1:16.7

which is there is never a right time to start anything the stars will never align for you

1:22.3

and as Tim Ferriss once said in his book the four Four Hour Work Week, which is a very good book,

1:27.6

by the way, and I'll talk about that a little bit later in another episode.

1:31.7

But he said, the traffic lights of life will never always be green.

1:36.0

And that's really stuck with me.

1:37.5

And it actually makes me do a lot of the things that I'm doing today and just go for things rather than trying to wait

1:45.7

for the perfect moment. So here we are. Here I am talking to you. And like I said, I'm very much

1:53.1

looking forward to this podcast and the upcoming episodes. And I'm going to give you a bit of a

1:58.8

background about myself and why I've come up with this idea and the title bouncing back so you'll get a better understanding of what exactly you are going to be listening to and what I'm going to be talking about.
