Where are the ships of the future? Once upon a time the U.S.

Fielded the greatest fleet ever assembled off the coast of Normandy and then in

the Pacific in order to defeat two empires, the German Empire and the Japanese Empire.

Now many years later the geography is the same, the oceans are the same, but the challenge is the Chinese Communist Empire what is to be done.

I welcome Captain Jerry Hendrix, the United States Navy Retired Aviator,

at the Sagamore Institute, the author of the very helpful to provide and maintain a Navy while why naval

primacy is America's first best strategy. These last years we've been

discussing Jerry and I what needs to be done and often it's

short-handed by Congress and by the media, myself, as a number of ships.
