is said to be negotiation underway between counselors to the president and the Kremlin.

There's said to be agreement by the leadership in Keefe to a 30-day ceasefire.

There's said to be observation by Mr. Putin and his counselors, Mr. Lavrov, that they do not want to cease fire that doesn't

lead to a permanent peace.

So we welcome John to help us with the map, the combat map, since last we spoke.

We start with the Kursk Salient.

Underway last week when we spoke with John was what was said to be

a Russian offensive using North Korean troops again. That offensive may or may not have been

underway, but it looks now to have results, which is that according to reports, this is fog of war,

the Ukrainians are retreating or walking into new positions along the border between Ukraine and the curse salient, or not. John, a very good

evening to you. Can you clarify what the Russians have achieved in the last week

and the Ukrainians claiming a sliver of the Kersk Oblast remains in the hands of the Ukrainian troops?
