Yes, so over the weekend, the incumbent president, Maci Salle, who has been in power there since 2012,

and is coming to the end of his second term

ahead of elections at the end of this month,

got on public broadcast TV and announced that he would be delaying the presidential election which was slated for 25th of February this month so just under three weeks time and his reason for that was under the pretense that it was to do with the
