My colleague and co-host and co-pilot, David Livingston, of the space show.

Dr. Space himself is here, and he's introducing me to a

colleague of his who is very critical to understand NASA, the history of NASA, something that

the 22nd centuries afterwards will celebrate and write up and do PhD research on. What was NASA? How did it work?

We have somebody who can help us understand that. Hank Aloine, who is in Alabama at a place called

Rocket City. And I'm not quite sure what that is, except for I learned that it's attached to

the Marshall Space Center, which means that it's vital to understand where Hank is and what

the Marshall Space Center is and what Rocket City is for the past, the great successes of NASA,

and for the future. Hank, a very good evening to you. Thank you

very much. What is Rocket City, a Rocket City Center? If someone visits you at the University

of Alabama and or at the Marshall Space Center, what do they see? What can they see as tourists?

Good evening, John. Good evening, David. Yeah. I'm located in Huntsville at the University of

Alabama in Huntsville. We're part of the system in Alabama, the higher ed system. And

Hudsonville is known as the Rocket City. We have a storied history here. We were heavy participants in the space

race in the 60s. We had a lot of rocket research and development here. The stories of Bon

Braun resonate in this city even today. We've got the Marshall Space Flight Center.

We have the, we have a NASA presence here,

of course, with Marshall, and we have the Space and Rocket Museum. I believe it's the largest
