joins me and we're very pleased to welcome Seth Fransman who's an adjunct at the FTD.

Importantly he's a senior Middle East correspondent for the Jerusalem Post.

Seth a very good evening to you it's a pleasure to welcome you to the show. What are the

concerns of the Israeli government at this point because here to four we've

been hearing reports that the hostages are being returned, the numbers there, the

faces are there, the children are there.

Are there fresh concerns or is it every day a moving story?

Well, I think that, you know, every day we wait

because in the end of the day, it seems that Hamas is the one

that always has somehow a final say. Hamas is the one that always has somehow a final say it the mass is the

one that holds the hostages they seem to like to you know make people wait to make families

suffer and the country that is mediating it which is Qatar you know also seems to

sometimes enable that to happen so there's a lot of cooks involved in these

deals and Hamas also has this weird story it claims that it can't find all

the hostages and then it somehow magically produces them so it seems to play a

bit you know fast and loose with all this and Israel has to wait every night and see who is going to be released and in and so far it's worked out I think it would not be in Hamas's interest probably to break the deal at this last moment because as you just noted this is the last day and it's Hamas that has been saying it kind of wants to extend this for another few days or up to five more days.

So it would seem that they will eventually come to come to come down to at night and
