This is CBS. I am the world. I'm John Bachelor. Central Asia, the stands they were called

during the Afghanistan conflict. However, Central Asia is now a major story for developing

the 21st century. This vast population and this vast territory, resource rich, agriculturally

based. And at the same time, representing the city states of three or four thousand

years ago, these city states were prominent in science and literature in all of the developed

technology of the time. Kabul was a major center. Kashkant was a major center. All these

cities of these stands were once upon a time and will be again if and when they developed

their resources uniformly and prosperously. That is the truth of the challenge for Central

Asia and for the country's bordering Central Asia. That would be Russia to the north and

China to the west and then the South Caucasus and Turkey to the east, a neighborhood of

powers. I welcome a Katrina Zalotava for geopolitical futures, writing about Central Asia from

a particular point of one resource, water. A Katrina, a very good day to you. When I read

your story in geopolitical futures, the subscription side, I smiled all the way through because

of cowboy movies that we show in this country. The proverb from cowboy movies, this is the

late 19th century between the Civil War and the automobile in the early teens of the 20th

century. Whiskeys for drinking and waters for fighting and you tell me you don't have a similar

statement in Russia because you're water rich but the stands are not water rich. So right now,

what are the contributing factors into the anxiety about water of these states? What worries
