newspaper, with alarming headlines in all directions. U.S. suspends military aid to Ukraine and

Ukraine to run out of U.S. weapons by summer. And Trump jolts the world with Ukraine and tariff moves.

Judy, a very good evening to you.

Let us begin with Ukraine.

The events of Friday the 28th of February are burned in everyone's imagination as we keep reviewing what is to be done.

There was a meeting for Mr. Zelensky within the next 24 hours in London, I believe,

with many of the principles of the European Union and NATO participating looking for a solution.

You're in Berlin, and you see the German media responding as I cannot understand.

What is the general sense?

With a new government coming in, weeks to go, two men really in charge now, the future

chancellor, Mr. Merritt, and the present chancellor, Mr. Schultz, their opinion of where we are.

And thank you for having me on your show again. It's a great question

they are together on all of this, actually. And over the past couple of days, if not a week or two,

the incoming Chancellor of Friedrich Mercer has become even more radical, more pessimistic

about the nature of the transatlantic relationship, and more pushing that the Europeans really now have to work together

for capabilities, for defence, and for actually looking out for Ukraine.

This is a seminal change in the German outlook
