Luke chapter 1, verses 1 through 4.

0:08.3

Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile a narrative of the things that have been

0:13.0

accomplished among us, just as those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and ministers

0:18.3

of the Word have delivered them to us, it seemed good to me also,

0:23.5

having followed all things closely for some time past, to write an orderly account for you,

1:56.0

followers of Jesus, for non-Christians for that matter, to learn about Jesus throughout centuries,

2:04.1

but it was written in the very beginning for one person, for Theophilus, that Theophilus might

2:11.6

know the truth about who Jesus is, what Jesus taught, and how Jesus died on the cross so that repentance and

2:19.8

forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in all nations. We'll get to that in Luke chapter 24.
