My name is Buckley Samson and I am a Los Angeles actress.

I just wanted to share just an inspiration from the 2007 strike.

I was a union member of 14 years working in the industry then.

And what I want to share is I knew I had to do something to support my union brothers

and sisters, especially the writers.

And I found that what I could do was to pick it, to actually make time within my schedule

to show up where my sag after shirt.

And those experiences to me were the most magical because I knew I was kind of, I didn't

realize I was going to get emotional.

Sorry, that I was participating in something bigger than myself, that I was a professional

in my union.

I was a professional actor and I was supporting what I felt was just and right.

So I don't know what the future holds, but I do know what I can do, which is to stand
