He is a past president of the Georgia Speech Language Hearing Association.

He has served in various Georgia Association offices and on several boards at the state level.

He was the GASHA to ASHA liaison for the 2012 ASHA Convention in Atlanta, Georgia,

a past clinician of the year, a recipient of the Bob Hull Leadership Award and in 2013

was the alumni of the year for the Dewar College of Education and Human Services

at Valdosta State University, the first SLP to receive this honor.

He's a recent appointee to the Georgia State Board of Examiners for SLP and AUD,

and he just recently joined Carolina Speech Pathology and Altaravision and O-H-D as their brand ambassador.
