Welcome, hope you're doing well in this Sunday evening.

Every week I come here to talk to you about your money, your finances, and your career tonight, I'm going to be talking about ambition.

And the reason why I want to talk to you about ambition is because clearly the greatest country on planet earth, the United States of America.

Imagine this, the greatest country in the world is led by a bunch of idiots and bathrooms called the Democrats and the Republicans that have clearly lost their ambition, clearly lost their purpose.

Clearly lost their clarity, I think, about what they're supposed to be doing, which is their public servants working for the United States to make this country even greater.

And I'll tell you, the amazing thing to me is here we are, governments close down, going on two weeks now.

We're getting ready to hit the deficit where they're going to have to raise the debt ceiling, which means there is no debt ceiling because they just keep raising it anyway.

So what is that? That's no agreement. That's no commitment. That's nothing.

And it's amazing to me how many Americans don't even care about this.

It tells me that Americans have actually pretty much lost any kind of hope or faith in the leadership from Republicans and Democrats.

Look, this is about Republicans and Democrats not leading, not being clear on their ambition, their purpose.

And every week I come to you and say, look, man, this whole economic thing is in your hands now.

This is in your hands. If it's going to be, it's up to you and me.

It's not up to them because they're clearly not going to do anything.

And I come to you this week to talk to you about this concept of ambition.

My friend Edwin Dearborn recently posted on his website EdwinDearborn.com.

He posted the definition of ambition, which I think we have lost some sense of.

It really hit home to me that this idea, what is ambition?

And why do people not seem to have it? Why are so many people apathetic?

Why are so many people not doing what they need to do in order to take care of their families and their business?
