Yes, well, I'm going to be arguing strongly a point that was driven home to me when I was a student.

The therapists are not agents of social control. In other words,

we're not there to police clients' opinions or thoughts. We're there to hear what they have to say.

We may not agree with what they have to say, but I think to paraphrase Evelyn Beatrice Hall,

you know, we should defend the right for them to say what they want and we can

explore that with them. It's all about exploring frames of references and we shouldn't audit
